A Four-Phase Online Interactive Diversity Program For Your Audience. Learn More
Your attendees will see a 70-minute recording of the riveting courtroom drama by award-winning playwright Todd Logan explores the highly charged issues of race, class, religion, gender, and the law.
The twist: your audience is the jury.
Your organization will be polled with three options, finding for the plaintiff, for the defendant, or undecided. Attendees can then virtually raise their hand and be promoted to panelist to give their thoughts and opinions on the case and its outcome. After a concensus of voices have been heard, a second poll will decide the outcome of the trial.
Facilitated Post-Show Discussion — Part 1.
Immediately following deliberation and the verdict, our expert facilitators lead a post show discussion where audiences engage in civil discourse that drives self-examination and challenges bias and preconceived notions. For the last 10 years, we’ve continously heard that these conversations last for days, weeks, and months.
Facilitated Post-Show Discussion — Part 2.
With DefEx Online, we’ve introduced a Follow-Up Post-Show Discussion, inviting your attendees back a week later to rejoin our expert facilitators and continue the conversation after they’ve had more time to think and process.
DefEx Online One-Time Event: An all-encompassing one-time event scheduled for 2 hours. Part 2 of the facilitated post-show discussion will be scheduled aproximately one week later.
DefEx Online FLEX Event: Attendees will be able to view the film on their own within 48 hours leading up to a scheduled deliberation and discussion. Part 2 of the facilitated post-show discussion will be scheduled aproximately one week later.
